The Heyincar wireless adapters connects to your car's stereo system through a USB port. Once connected, you can pair your smartphone with the adapter via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, depending on your phone's compatibility. Once paired, you can access your phone's apps and features directly through your car's display.
Which smartphones are compatible with the Heyincar wireless Carplay/Android Auto adapters?
The Heyincar wireless adapters are compatible with most smartphones running iOS 10.0 or above and Android 11.0 or above.
Is a specific type of car required to use the Heyincar wireless Carplay/Android Auto adapters?
No, the Heyincar wireless adapters can be used with most cars that have a USB port and factory-wired Carplay. However, please note that cars with their own wireless Carplay system, such as BMW, are not compatible with our product.
Can I connect multiple devices to a Heyincar wireless adapter? How can I switch between them?
You can pair as many smartphones as you wish with the Heyincar wireless adapters, but it will only work with one device at a time. To switch between devices, simply ignore the Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi of the device that you do not want to use.
How can I upgrade the Heyincar wireless adapter?
We recommend that you only upgrade the Heyincar wireless adapter when it is necessary. To upgrade the adapter, follow these steps:
(1) Prepare a TF card and format it to FAT32
(2) Download the latest firmware file from our support page
(3) Copy the firmware file into the root directory of the TF card
(4) Insert the TF card into the adapter
(5) The system will prompt you to update the firmware
(6) Click "Update" and do not remove the dongle during the update.
